The heat is on this fall as Shef Food + Wine makes its much-anticipated return to Grand Prairie, Texas, from October 24–26, 2025. Tickets are now available for the festival’s second edition, curated by culinary luminaries Tiffany Derry and Tom Foley—the visionary duo behind T2D Concepts, a purpose-driven hospitality group. This three-day celebration blends nationally recognized chefs, world-class food and beverage experiences, and a mission to create meaningful impact through hospitality.
Roots Southern Table in Farmers Branch is more than just a restaurant—it’s a deeply personal expression of Southern culinary identity. Chef Tiffany Derry’s upbringing in Southeast Texas touches every plate, bringing together elements of Creole, soul food, and refined Southern cooking with global technique. The menu reflects a reverence for tradition but refuses to be boxed in by it.

Chef Tiffany Derry is a celebrated Texas-based chef and restaurateur known for blending Southern tradition with global technique. Raised in Beaumont, she trained at the Art Institute of Houston and gained international culinary experience before rising to national fame through appearances on shows like Top Chefand Top Chef All-Stars. She is the founder of Tiffany Derry Concepts and co-founder of T2D Concepts, the hospitality group behind Roots Southern Table, Roots Chicken Shakand more recent, Radici Wood Fired Grill.
“Radici” means “roots” in Italian, and the name reflects the restaurant’s deep connection to tradition, family, and culture. Following a successful debut in Farmers Branch last May, the team is excited to bring their unique take on Italian cuisine to a new community.
Chef Derry’s inspiration for Radici comes from her early days cooking in Italian kitchens, travels through Italy, and her passion for the country’s rich regional flavors. At the center of the menu: handmade pasta made fresh daily and dishes cooked over a wood-fired grill, all prepared in an open kitchen.

T2D Concepts, the purpose-driven hospitality group led by chef Tiffany Derry and Tom Foley, has cooked up its latest concept, Radici Wood-Fired Grill. Radici, meaning “roots” in Italian, is set to begin limited service on Wednesday, May 1 in Farmers Branch.
Radici draws inspiration from Derry’s early experiences in Italian restaurants, Foley’s maternal heritage, and both Derry’s and Foley’s travels through Italy. The menu changes based on seasonal availability and centers around meats and vegetables prepared in a wood-fired grill and a selection of fresh pastas made daily.
Chef Tiffany Derry, a woman who is truly America’s sweetheart. It was her insistence to stand out from the Top Chef crowd of chefs on season seven where smarminess is generally a theme and backstabbing is de rigueur. That’s not how Tiffany plays it, her genuine personality coupled with the extraordinary ability to cook led this chef to the top of that season’s heap, which begat an amazing television career which includes another season of Top Chef (All Stars), a gig on Bar Rescue and numerous judging appearances for both Top Chef and Top Chef Jr..
