Uchiko Plano’s DFW Restaurant Week Menu is an Eight-Course Deal Worth Booking Early

Uchiko Plano is running an eight-course prix fixe for DFW Restaurant Week, August 10 through September 7, and at $99 a person it’s one of the stronger values on this year’s list given what’s actually on the menu. Uchiko is chef Tyson Cole’s fire-and-smoke offshoot of Uchi, the James Beard-winning sushi restaurant that’s been anchoring Austin’s dining scene since 2003, and the Plano location at Legacy West has built its own following since opening in 2024 without losing the technique that made the original worth the drive.

Hai for Her: Celebrate Women’s History Month 

This March Hai Hospitality will launch its fifth annual Hai for Her programming in celebration of Women’s History Month. From Sunday, March 8, through Tuesday, March 31, at Uchi and Uchiko Dallas, guests can order a featured Banana Sundae, with a percentage of proceeds benefiting Girls Inc. The Banana Sundae includes banana sorbet, candied coconut, coconut caramel, crispy plantains, black sesame salt, and bruleed banana for $11.
