Bill Kirchen is most known as the smokin’ lead guitarist from ’70s Bay Area Honky Tonkin fave Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen, and the hits Hot Rod Lincoln and Too Much Fun. In the decades since those halcyon days, Bill Kirchen has constantly toured, recorded and performed with some of the greats of our time, including projects with Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello, Doug Sahm, Hoyt Axton and Link Wray– all the while spreading the Gospel of Dieselbilly and the Twangiest Guitar on the Planet.
