SNACK – Global Kitchen & Bar

Late Spring 2012, Avner Samuel and Jon Stevens (co-owners, Nosh Euro Bistro) will open the first location of a new concept, SNACK – Global Kitchen & Bar. Located at 2323 N. Henderson Avenue, the former Horne & Dekker restaurant space is being completely remodeled and plans to feature three bar areas – one with cocktails, wine and beer; the second is planned for a raw bar, charcuterie element and hot small plates; the third will feature a large wood-burning oven for made-to-order flatbreads and distinct hot dishes cooked in various vessels over the fire (40 seats total for all three drink and food bar areas). The main dining room is slated to hold 80 seats with patio seating planned for 30.

Avner Samuel explains, “SNACK will feature small plates with recipes from around the globe. The cocktails, wine and beer list will reflect and complement the globally influenced menu, while at the same time remaining at a low price per ticket average.” The menu will change frequently and two large blackboards, (5 ’x 8’) against the sidewalls of the restaurant, will feature daily options of anything from Thai, Indian, Middle Eastern, Mexican and more. Samuel continues, “Whatever the market will bear that day will be on the menu.”

SNACK will be open nightly 7 days a week and open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. The kitchen will be open until midnight and the bar will stay open until 2am.
