Blue Martini Opening Soon In Plano

by Steven Doyle

Blue Martini makes 45 specialty martini’s including their signature version which is Van Gogh Blue Vodka, Cointreau, Blue Curacao, Sour Mix, Orange Juice, served in an Oversized Snifter over Ice with a Glow Stick. They also serve food like lollipop lamb chops and spinach artichoke dips.  You can find this over-the-top bar in illustrious places such as Vegas and Orlando, Florida, and very soon in Plano, Texas at the Shops at Legacy.

Soon when you get that uncontrolled desire for a wasabi pea crusted sea scallop or a Grape Crush Martini (Three Olives Grape Vodka, Grape Pucker, Sour Mix and 7-up) you will know where to find it post-haste.

Look for the new location in Plano to open sometime this Spring.

The horror! Sounds like they’re trying to singlehandedly undo all the progress our Dallas bartenders have made. I wonder if this place even knows what a proper martini is. Neither of the two drinks you described has a single ingredient that belongs in a Martini.

I am from Orlando and the Blue Martini was one of my favorite bars. Great martinis and great atmosphere! I currently live in Plano (just outside Dallas) and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that of all cities in Texas, one was opening here!
