Playa del Carmen is disgustingly HOT from about March-October. It would, therefore, not be surprising that it would be up for rent in the summer. I’ve been to the area maybe 7-8 times. It’s nice, but, if you are not a tourist, bring your car and your Spanish-English dictionary. And, a hand-fan. The only reason to buy that house would be if Mr. Pepin came with it.
