CBD Provisions To Open At Joule

by Steven Doyle

Look for CBD Provisions to open at the Joule Hotel in the Spring of 2013. This will be an “American eatery” that will feature American comfort food with an artisinal standard. This translates to local and region sourcing along with responsibly raised meats.

CBD was developed by Dallas-based Consilient Restaurants and led by operating partner Greg Katz who is currently managing Victor Tangos located on Henderson. Previously, Katz served in various management capacities at Il Mulino in New York City, The Carlyle Hotel in New York City, and Rosewood’s Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas.

Consilient owns and operates other restaurants in the Dallas area including Hibiscus, Fireside Pies, The Porch and Victor Tangos.

CBD Provisions will open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, and serve a complete menu until midnight on the weekends. Sunday brunch will be a major focus. The interiors of CBD Provisions, created by New York City-based designer Claudia Woods, will evoke the tradition of big city brasseries in a style befitting the location in the heart of historic downtown.
