From the guys at Sfuzzi and Standard Pour (La Reve Consultants) look for a new hot spot to open on McKinney in Uptown Dallas called Pozo Mercado . If you look in at the old St John’s Wood spot at 2908 Mckinney you will see that they are doing some fast work on the restaurant/ bar. The food will be farm-to-table, but not your normal fare. One of the terms I heard was Fresh Mex, but the terminology may change. Regardless, look for some fashion of Mexican food in the new spot.
The gentlemen behind the concept are tapping their resources and looking at Bryan McCollough who is the bar manager at Standard Pour, along with mixing mates such as Lucky Campbell. I am told the menu will sport 3/4 frozen drinks, about ten craft cocktails and a small wine list.
Look for about 20 food items and 100 seats to fill the space. The new spot should open this Spring.
