From the guys at Sfuzzi and Standard Pour (La Reve Consultants) look for a new hot spot to open on McKinney in Uptown Dallas called Pozo Mercado . If you look in at the old St John’s Wood spot at 2908 Mckinney you will see that they are doing some fast work on the restaurant/ bar. The food will be farm-to-table, but not your normal fare. One of the terms I heard was Fresh Mex, but the terminology may change. Regardless, look for some fashion of Mexican food in the new spot.  Â
The gentlemen behind the concept are tapping their resources and looking at Bryan McCollough who is the bar manager at Standard Pour, along with mixing mates such as Lucky Campbell. I am told the menu will sport 3/4 frozen drinks, about ten craft cocktails and a small wine list.
Look for about 20 food items and 100 seats to fill the space.  The new spot should open this Spring.
