The public relations rep sent word on this new concept hitting Dallas. We mentioned it some time back, but this gives us more details. She reminded us this is not an April Fool’s joke.

Free Range Concepts partners, Josh Sepkowitz and Kyle Noonan announce their newest project, Mutts. Scheduled to open late this coming May, Sepkowitz and Noonan (Bowl & Barrel, Sunset Lounge, The Rustic) are bringing a modern day “roadside” burger stand to Uptown that will serve burgers, hot dogs, frozen custard, shakes, beer, wine and more during lunch and dinner hours. Coffee, breakfast tacos, bagels and pastries will be served for breakfast.

Located on the former Hank Haney Golf Course land across from West Village, Mutts will also house a private, maintained dog park adjacent to the restaurant, where monthly memberships or one-time day passes will be available for purchase.  However, with Mutts being a truly dog-friendly restaurant, the outdoor seating (up to 200 people), “Will provide Dallas diners with a great place to grab a bite or a cold drink and hang out with their friends, whether they have two legs or four,” explains co-owner, Kyle Noonan.

Mutts will be an open-air restaurant, using high-quality ingredients for simply prepared American classics.  Co-owner, Josh Sepkowitz explains, “The restaurant will be a fun place for people to gather for good food and drink, but we want people to know that this is a restaurant first, dog park second.  You do not need a dog to come to Mutts.”
