We are pleased to offer a new feature to craveDFW. Each week we have invited the SPCA of Texas to share with us some very special and loving pets that you might wish to be part of your family. Please share this with friends and spread the word.
Like to play games? Meet Domino, a playful 3-year-old, Dalmatian/Pit Bull mix who is looking for a fun forever family. With warm auburn eyes, a sweet chocolate nose, and a velvety domino-colored coat, Domino is a stunning guy. This sweet guy is an adventurous fellow who loves to frolic about the great outdoors. In fact, Domino would make a perfect running buddy if you’re looking to get in shape and explore the neighborhood. He also enjoys playing tug-of-war and fetch, chomping down on squeaky toys, dancing in circles, and getting a nice back or belly rub. Even though he is slightly bigger than your lap, Domino likes to snuggle and is the perfect lapdog. In fact, one of his favorite ways to show you how much he loves and appreciates you is to place his head in your lap and plant gentle kisses on your hands.
Domino is the perfect family pet and plays nicely with the kiddos, though he would prefer to be in a home without any other animals. That way, you have more time to dote on this sweet boy. Domino is already crate trained and he just learned how to sit on command. This cutie pie was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on April 8 because his previous family had to move away and couldn’t take Domino with them. While he is sad to see them go, Domino is excited to start his new life with you. What are you waiting for? Come meet Domino today! #113590
Hello folks, meet Inky, a handsome 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair kitty cat with a beautiful, shiny black coat and gorgeous green eyes. Inky was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on March 9 because his previous owner passed away and he misses them terribly, but Inky knows he will find his forever family soon. This precious boy can sometimes be a little bit shy, but after he gets to know you, Inky will love you forever. Inky is declawed, so he must be an indoor-only kitty cat for his own protection. Though he loves people, Inky would do best in a quiet home without small children or other cats. Inky is an affectionate fellow and he hopes you will come visit him at the SPCA of Texas. Inky is also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because he has been waiting for his new, loving family for more than 30 days, making his adoption fee $50. Come meet Inky today and see why he would make the perfect forever companion. #112404
