Meet Penelope, a gorgeous 2-year-old, 40-pound Terrier/American Pitt Bull mix who is looking for a forever home. She has a beautiful red and white coat with lovely caramel brown eyes. She is an athletic gal and loves to run, run, run! In addition to stretching her legs, she loves to bounce after tennis balls, play tug-o-war, and jump up for hugs. She always has fun no matter what she’s doing, and is sure to bring a smile to your face each and every day. Penelope is also pretty talented and already knows how to sit on command. She is so proud that she can do this that she jumps for joy afterwards. Since she loves being the center of attention, she would prefer to be the only dog in the house. Meet Damien, a gorgeous 3-year-old, 12 pound, Domestic short Hair mix. He has a beautiful shiny black coat with lovely gold eyes. Damian was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on April 12 so that he can find his forever home. Damien is a shy boy, but once he gets to know you, he is as sweet as can be. Damien loves to have his head and chin scratched. Though he loves adults, he gets a little nervous around children, so he would prefer a home with no children under the age of 12. Damien has been neutered, FIV/FeLV tested (he’s negative), micro-chipped, received his age- appropriate vaccinations, and is litter box trained. He is also a V.I.P. Regular adoption fees are $95-125 for puppies 0-6 months, $75-95 for adult dogs 6 months or older, $50 for senior dogs 7 years or older, $50 for VIP dogs, $95 for kittens, $75 for adult cats, $50 for senior cats 7 years and older and $50 for VIP cats. Fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test for dogs six months and older, initial heartworm preventative for dogs, a feline leukemia test for cats four months and older, a microchip, a rabies tag and a free leash or cat carrier.
