SPCA Pet of the Week: Penelope and Damien

Penelope 95968

Meet Penelope, a gorgeous 2-year-old, 40-pound Terrier/American Pitt Bull mix who is looking for a forever home.  She has a beautiful red and white coat with lovely caramel brown eyes. She is an athletic gal and loves to run, run, run! In addition to stretching her legs, she loves to bounce after tennis balls, play tug-o-war, and jump up for hugs.  She always has fun no matter what she’s doing, and is sure to bring a smile to your face each and every day.  Penelope is also pretty talented and already knows how to sit on command.  She is so proud that she can do this that she jumps for joy afterwards.  Since she loves being the center of attention, she would prefer to be the only dog in the house.  That way, you have all the time in the world to properly dote on her.

Penelope was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on May 12 in the hopes of finding a loving new family to call her own.  She is a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because she’s been waiting for her new, loving family for more than 30 days, and she has a special lower adoption price! What are you waiting for?  Come and meet Penelope today! #95968

Meet Damien, a gorgeous 3-year-old, 12 pound, Domestic short Hair mix.  He has a beautiful shiny black coat with lovely gold eyes.  Damian was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on April 12 so that he can find his forever home. Damien is a shy boy, but once he gets to know you, he is as sweet as can be. Damien loves to have his head and chin scratched. Though he loves adults, he gets a little nervous around children, so he would prefer a home with no children under the age of 12. Damien has been neutered, FIV/FeLV tested (he’s negative), micro-chipped, received his age- appropriate vaccinations, and is litter box trained. He is also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because he’s been waiting for his new, loving family for more than 30 days, and he has a special lower adoption price.  Would Damien be the perfect addition to your family? Come and meet him today! #113837
