The root vegetable of choice to power our green press release machine today is skirret. We should say that the event described below is Crave Recommended. Burgers are the American food that has conquered the globe. Burgundy is simply ethereal wine.

Celebrity chefs will join Chef John Tesar at the home of Bill and Karen Seanor, Sunday, September 29th, 2013 for the fifth annual Burgers & Burgundy event benefitting The Dallas Chapter of DIFFA (Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS). Each chef has been tasked with the challenge to serve up the best burger sliders and compliment them with the burgundy of their choice. Wines and specialty cocktails will also be available.

Legnick (Shinsei), Patrick Russell (Max’s Wine Dive), Brad Phillips (Asador), Blaine Staniford (Grace) and Whole Foods. Funds raised from the event will go towards DIFFA/Dallas’s mission of serving those who are affected by AIDS and HIV across North Texas. This year’s event chair is Noel Rodriguez and Terri Provencal will serve as this year’s Honorary Chair.
“I’m thrilled to bring my fellow chefs together for what has become an annual event for DIFFA/Dallas,” comments Chef Tesar. “I have had the honor to work with DIFFA for five years to put on this event. The best and most rewarding part, though, is that it’s for a great cause.”
“We are so excited to have nationally and locally acclaimed chefs and great sponsors such as Whole Foods, Freedman Meats, Patron Spirits and Fresh Point on board to help raise funds for DIFFA/Dallas,” says Brittanie Buchanan Oleniczak, DIFFA/Dallas Board of Trustee Chairman. “We truly appreciate their donation of time, product and expertise.”
