On Friday, May 30, to celebrate Chef Carl Murray and the restaurant’s 10 year anniversary, Nobu Dallas will host a special happy hour event open to all from 5 to 7pm. While Friday happy hour at Nobu is always a lively start to the weekend, this event will truly delight with complimentary Nobu Dallas signature dishes including smoked duck breast skewers with vanilla yuzu miso, wagyu shortrib skewers with chili soy, and seared scallop skewers with chimmi churri salsa.
Chef Carl has been with Nobu Dallas since the day it opened its doors, first as a chef de partie, then as a sous chef and now as the restaurant’s Executive Chef. Known for his ability to take Nobu signature dishes and apply a Texan twist, Chef Carl is known for his innovative approach. On his decade-long rise to the position of Executive Chef, Carl says, “You always have a home and a family at Nobu. You are able to take the amazing legacy Chef Nobu Matsuhisa has created and make it your own. There are no limits to what we can do here, and no better place to be.”
