Get Ready For Session Beers, Dallas

communityby Mark Hooper

Summer is right around the corner, which means “Sunday Funday” will be in full swing, and what better way to enjoy a long day by the pool with family and friends than with a delicious DFW craft beer in your hand?  I’m a hop head myself, and it doesn’t take much for me to catch that buzz we all seek on our days off, which is why the new craze of session IPA’s have been my go-to recently. Thanks to this style’s low alcohol percentage, we can all get our hop fix on and not have to throw in the towel after enjoying a few.

I personally experienced how great this style is for an all-day drinking event during a recent bachelor party at Community’s tap room. Thanks to their newest release, Sundial (4.5%), we all managed to hold our composure, at least for that part of the day.  Sundial’s use of Centennial, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops are complimented perfectly with an incredibly light body, and crisp finish.

Expect to see a fair amount of session beers at LUCK this summer, including Lakewood’s Hopochondria (3.5%). With its big floral notes, and light refreshing finish, it’s a perfect partner for your all day shenanigans, and of course, our signature pastrami sandwich.

Community uses unfair labor practices such as mandatory unpaid overtime.

    Quit then

Or better yet, file a complaint with the dept. of labor. These breweries seem to to think they are above the law.
