The Bake Sale will be popping up once again on North Fitzhugh. Lily Hanson and Skye McDaniel, both chefs with a knack for baking will be bringing an array of delicacies for Christmas, all from scratch. Handcrafted bread, cookies, crackers and more will be for sale on December 19th. Guests of the event can pre-order for items to be picked up on December 23rd.
Together Hanson and McDaniel have over 20 years of culinary experience in and outside of Dallas including time worked at Hotel Za Za, Bolsa, Urbano Café, Village Baking Co., Restaurant AVA, Boulevardier, and Cafe Momentum. Both also have backgrounds in fine arts. Their combined skill sets promise a creatively delicious experience.
Joining them in the market with unique gifts for the holidays is Kris Johnson a local artist/ceramicist, and Maxwell Rasor a local jeweler, as well as ceramic pieces by Kathy Hanson. There will also be wine sampling to help you pair the perfect wine with your holiday meal.
