Grand opening of Fajita Pete’s in Lakewood Dallas

Fajita Pete’s, the “fresh off the grill” fajita catering and delivery concept, celebrated the grand opening of its newest Dallas-area location in Lakewood on Thursday, Sept. 2, at 1920 Abrams Parkway. The 1,600-square-foot-space is located in the Lakewood Shopping Center and will be the restaurant chain’s 23rd location.

The Fajita Pete’s – Lakewood location is spearheaded by husband-and-wife team, Hugh and Rebekah Guill of Smith Restaurant Group, which is named after their 3-year-old daughter. The Guills have been actively involved in Fajita Pete’s since 2018 and Hugh currently serves as their Chief Brand Officer.

“The Fajita Pete’s concept is already a fan favorite in Texas because of the quality of our fresh fajitas and the convenience of our catering and delivery services,” said Hugh Guill. “Rebekah, myself, and our entire staff are incredibly excited to bring our award-winning fajitas and fajita-inspired dishes to the Lakewood community. ‘Community’ is a core value of Smith Restaurant Group, and one that we take very seriously. The folks in Lakewood have been very supportive of our Park Cities location since we opened in 2020, and we look forward to earning the support of even more community members in our new Lakewood home.”

Founded in Houston in 2008, Fajita Pete’s is a fast-growing, delivery-centric concept that features a simple menu with just a few key items. Its award-winning fajitas, available in beef, chicken, vegetable, shrimp or mixed, are grilled to order and served with Mexican rice, refried beans, grilled onions, jalapenos, fresh hand-rolled tortillas, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, lettuce, and chips and salsa.

There are currently 23 Fajita Pete’s locations open, with agreements in place to open approximately 40 more in Texas, Kansas and Colorado over the next three years.

    I really love you fajitas!
It would be great if you stayed open until 9 pm.

Won’t be eating here – CraveDFW wouldn’t let me forward email of story to friends. Bummer – sounds good but there’s just too many other places to choose from – not wasting my time.
