First Look at Spatch Kitchen and Sonny & Sons

Addison keeps growing and growing. This time with two new southern comfort food spots on the ever-expanding Belt Line strip. Spatch Kitchen & Cocktails and Sonny & Sons sit side by side, offering southern favorites with all the fixins.

Spatch is a full service concept specializing in seasonal American food with southern influences. Diners can enjoy craft beers, wines by the bottle and glass and signature cocktails, like the pomegranate margarita made with Alto’s Tequila, pomegranate, lime and agave; or the bourbon iced tea, made with Basil Hayden, peach tea, lemon and honey.

As for appetizers, the loaded haystack fries with bacon, sour cream and chives make for a hearty starter ($10). If you want to splurge, the crab fritters with remoulade make for a saucy, meaty treat ($16).

The main entrees consist of a mix of surf and turf items, including the blackened redfish ($27), the scottish salmon ($29), and the half chicken with green beans, almonds, rice and mustard barbecue ($26).

Sonny & Sons is a more fast casual restaurant, offering an assortment of chicken dishes. Fried chicken, half birds, quarter birds, tenders, and sandwiches are all available at Sonny & Son’s at  different heat levels. In the mornings, diners can enjoy daily rotating donuts.

Spatch and Sonny & Sons are both open for dine-in, carry out and delivery on all major food delivery services.
