Mocktails to Sip On at DFW Restaurants in the New Year

Birdie’s Eastside

The newly opened indoor/outdoor concept from restaurateur Jon Alexis, offers three mocktails to sip on whether you want to cozy up inside or on the patio around the firepit. Birdie’s alcohol-free cocktails include the Ginger Mint, Pomegranate Sparkler and Blood Orange Lemonade.

Dive Coastal Cuisine

Dive Coastal Cuisine, known for their light and flavorful fare offers several mocktails to pair with their healthy entrees including the Gimlet Mocktail – cucumber, lime, soda, and simple syrup; Not So Michelada – Topo Chico, lime, and Tajin, Orange Crush – Poppi Soda, coconut milk, lime juice and pineapple juice; and Piña Colada Mocktail – pineapple juice, coconut milk, lime juice and orange juice.

JOA

JOA, the popular Korean BBQ concept features off-menu mocktails that guests can request such as the Yuzu Smash – lime juice, grapefruit juice, yuzu puree, mint leaves, club soda and tonic and Berry Last Stand – lemon juice, strawberry puree, orgeat, ginger berry, and club soda.

La Parisienne

The French bistro located at The Star in Frisco is featuring decadent mocktails including the Pomegranate Mule – pomegranate puree, lime juice and ginger beer; Mint Berry Smash – strawberries, blueberries, mint, lime juice, agave and seltzer water; Chocolate Fake-Tini – chocolate syrup, vanilla syrup and milk; Mango-Rita – mango puree, agave, fresh lemon juice and seltzer water.

Ramble Room

Ramble Room, the classic American neighborhood restaurant offers three mocktail options including the Blackberry Punch – balanced with housemade blackberry syrup and fresh lemon; Citrus Mint Cooler – cool and refreshing wIth ginger beer and fresh squeezed citrus; Passion Fruit Sparkler – sweet and spritzy with pineapple and orange.

Ginger’s

The recently opened, refined and glamorous cocktail lounge connected to Sushi | Bar focuses on classic cocktails but for those looking to sip on something alcohol-free the lounge has two mocktails on the menu. Zen Level made with Three Spirit Livener, lemongrass green tea syrup, lemon juice and yuzu; and Ginger’s – Three Spirit Nightcap, gin-eric syrup, lemon and soda.

HG Sply Co.

HG Sply Co. is known for their focus on clean food and classic drinks so it’s no surprise they have refreshing mocktails on the menu. These zero-alcohol drinks include the #BEETBETTER – beet, strawberry, citrus, simple syrup, Topo Chico; Mango Refresher – mango, turmeric, citrus, simple syrup, Topo Chico; and Guava Dawg – grapefruit, pineapple, guava, lemon, Topo Chico.

UnaVida

The recently opened modern Mexican restaurant from Local Favorite Restaurants Group and Chef Matt McCallister offers refreshing cold-pressed aguas frescas as a perfect alternative to alcoholic beverages. Aguas Frescas available include Hibiscus & Rose – housemade hibiscus tea, finished with rose water, cinnamon, ginger, allspice; Almond Horchata – heirloom rice, almond milk, clove, cinnamon, vanilla; ‘The Whole’ Meyer Lemonade – the whole lemon blended with housemade simple syrup; and Cucumber, Mint & Lime Agua Fresca.
