The Knox-Henderson neighborhood spot, The Porch, is kicking off the season with exciting occasions designed to offer a cool place to kick back in the heat of the summer. From the lively new Sunday Market in the beer garden to events for pet lovers and brunch-goers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at The Porch this June and July.
The Porch’s all-weather, air-conditioned patio is a pet owner’s paradise this summer. While the patio can be enjoyed any day, any time, for a dog-friendly outing, The Porch has a couple of occasions on the calendar this summer catered to furry friends. On Sunday, June 23, and Sunday, July 21, from 6 to 8 p.m., furry friends will be treated to organic pretzel-shaped dog treats, and owners can receive a complimentary portrait of their pet by Jourdan Smith, @DallasFashionArtist. Additionally, when you share your experience dining with your pet and tag @porchrestaurant on Instagram, 10% of your check will be donated to Operation Kindness. And the dogs aren’t the only ones having fun this summer at The Porch! Enjoy half-priced bottles of wine every Sunday after 5 p.m.
The perfect Sunday outing has just been made easier with the Sunday Market located in The Porch’s beer garden on select Sundays this June. On June 9, 16, and 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., vendors will pop up in the beer garden providing an opportunity to sip and shop, supporting local businesses while enjoying a delicious brunch. The market will feature pop-ups offering a range of items for purchase, from baked treats to vintage goods, so guests will get their farmers market fix without missing out on their favorite brunch experience.
The Porch offers a notable brunch every Saturday and Sunday, and to add to the fun, they will offer complimentary Bloody Mary Shots every weekend during brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Brunch is no joke at The Porch, featuring dishes such as Charrito Chilaquiles, Acai Bowls, Bread Pudding French Toast, and more. Guests can enjoy a range of brunch cocktails from Peach Bellinis to Aperol Spritz to perfectly compliment these delectable dishes.
