Nikki Greek Bistro & Lounge, a vibrant new addition to the neighborhood culinary scene, has opened its doors on Lovers Lane. Owned by the husband-and-wife team, Lisa and Tom Georgalis, this charming restaurant is proud to welcome Executive Chef Ryan Carbery to its kitchen.

Chef Carbery, formerly the Culinary Director of the prestigious Statler Hotel, brings a wealth of culinary experience to Nikki. Since joining the team, he has revitalized the restaurant’s seasonal dinner menu, infused it with his signature flair, and expanded offerings to include a tantalizing lunch service.

“Chef Ryan has not only enhanced our menu but has also brought an authentic touch to our dishes,” says co-owner Lisa Georgalis. “He masterfully balances the rich flavors of our family recipes with innovative Greek and Mediterranean creations. His exceptional palate for wine pairings and commitment to quality ensures that dining at Nikki is a memorable experience.”

In true Greek culinary tradition, Nikki’s menu changes with the seasons, spotlighting the freshest cheeses, fish, meats, and vegetables available.

Exciting New Lunch Offerings

Nikki’s new lunch menu features a variety of mouth-watering dishes, including:

  • Bifteki Burger: A seasoned ½ pound Texas Prime pasture beef burger topped with grilled red onion, melted feta, tzatziki, and served on a brioche bun with Greek fries.
  • Lamb Pita Pocket: Braised and pressed lamb, complemented by sliced red onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, parsley, and tzatziki, served with fries.
  • Greek Bolognese Bianco: Ground all-natural pork with braised horta, ditalini pasta, and shaved kefalotiri cheese.
  • Souvlaki Skewers: Choose between chicken or shrimp, served with warm pita, citrus rice, and tzatziki sauce.
  • Gemista: Roasted bell pepper and tomato stuffed with Greek-seasoned rice and locally sourced beef.

Salads also grace the menu, including:

  • Nikki Greek Salad: A vibrant mix of shaved cucumber, pickled garden vegetables, tomatoes, sliced feta, and Georgalis Greek dressing.
  • Greek Goddess Salad: A house green mix with shaved Kefalotiri and the signature “Greek Goddess” dressing.
  • Pantzaria Beet Salata: Candy stripe and red beets with house dressing, pickled shallots, and feta cheese.
Whole Fish

Nikki’s expanded dinner menu offers robust and flavorful options, such as:

  • Moussaka Georgalis: A traditional dish featuring Texas-raised beef, roasted eggplant, and potatoes, topped with creamy béchamel.
  • Roasted Half Chicken: Accompanied by roasted Florina peppers, onions, leeks, and lemon garlic horta.
  • 14oz Bone-In Pork Chop: Slow-cooked with white bean plaki, Greek romesco, stone fruit, and honey glaze.
  • Lamb Chops: Alba lamb rack served with charred briam, root vegetable purée, and pomegranate demi-glace.
  • Steak Frites: An 8 oz grilled Texas Wagyu bavette, served with crispy fries and Greek House butter.

For lighter fare, options include:

  • Shrimp Pasta: Spaghetti alla chitarra tossed with tomato, artichoke, leek, greens, lemon-butter, and crispy garlic.
  • Market Fish: Whole roasted fish featuring seasonal flavors.

  • Dinner: Tuesday – Thursday, 5 PM – 9 PM; Friday and Saturday, 5 PM – 10 PM
  • Happy Hour: Weekdays, 2 PM – 6 PM
  • Lounge: Weekdays after dinner until 10 PM; Weekends after dinner until midnight
