Brunch aficionados and aficionados of the finest smoked fish, rejoice. After months of anticipation, the renowned New York City institution, Sadelle’s is bringing its celebrated menu of sable, sturgeon, and house-cured salmon to Highland Park Village. Sadelle’s marks a significant expansion of Major Food Group (MFG), the acclaimed hospitality group behind some of the most prestigious dining experiences in the world.
The Dallas outpost of Sadelle’s occupies a prime location within the prestigious Highland Park Village, the former site of Royal Blue Grocery, and faces the bustling Preston Road. For months, locals have eagerly embraced this hifalutin outpost. Celebrated designer Ken Fulk—whose works have left an indelible mark on the city’s restaurant and residential landscapes—was enlisted to reimagine the space. Known for his distinctive flair, Fulk’s designs for Sadelle’s have varied from city to city, yet each iteration maintains a sense of the locale’s unique character through carefully curated colors and textures.

Sadelle’s, part of Major Food Group’s impressive portfolio, is renowned for its impeccably crafted menu, which has earned accolades from diners and critics alike. The restaurant is a modern take on the classic New York-style brunch, offering signature dishes such as the legendary House Salmon and Salad Tower, paired with what MFG claims are “the best bagels in America.” The menu embodies a balance of familiar favorites elevated to their highest form—an experience that effortlessly blends nostalgia with refinement.
Major Food Group, under the direction of managing partners Jeff Zalaznick, Rich Torrisi, and Mario Carbone, has grown from a single restaurant in downtown Manhattan into a global hospitality empire with outposts in Miami, Boston, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Paris, Tel Aviv, and now Dallas. Despite their meteoric rise, the group has maintained an unwavering commitment to excellence, garnering 18 stars from The New York Times and three from the Michelin Guide. Their mission remains clear: to serve the highest quality food in settings that offer an immersive and unforgettable dining experience.
Zalaznick shared his vision for Sadelle’s Dallas, hoping it would become “the best place to go for all the things that everyone likes to eat.” Drawing inspiration from the finest elements of both a classic New York diner and an elegant French patisserie, he imagines Sadelle’s as the perfect meeting point of casual comfort and haute cuisine.
With Sadelle’s in Dallas, Major Food Group further cements its presence in the culinary world, offering Dallasites the opportunity to indulge in the best versions of the classics, served with an unparalleled attention to detail. This latest chapter of Sadelle’s promises to bring a taste of New York sophistication to Texas, with every dish designed to delight.
