Duro Hospitality Debuts The Chumley House on Monday, November 25 in Fort Worth

Duro Hospitality, the innovative force behind celebrated concepts such as The Charles, Mister Charles, Sister, El Carlos Elegante, Casa Duro, and Cafe Duro, is proud to announce the highly anticipated opening of The Chumley House on Monday, November 25. This sophisticated, European-inspired steakhouse—infused with quintessential British charm—marks the company’s first foray outside Dallas, setting a new standard for Fort Worth’s dynamic dining scene. Located at 3230 Camp Bowie Blvd, Suite 150, The Chumley House brings a refined yet adventurous culinary experience to the city, capturing the spirit and culinary diversity of London in a transformative space.

“The city of Fort Worth has always held a special place in our hearts,” said Benji Homsey, Partner at Duro Hospitality. “With my roots as a TCU graduate and Chas’ deep connection to the city, we’ve long felt a personal bond to this vibrant community. The Chumley House is the result of extensive research and our desire to introduce something uniquely fresh, yet deeply resonant with the essence of Fort Worth.”

The Chumley House is housed within a 3,500 square foot venue that evokes the atmosphere of an elegant British manor, seamlessly blending timeless sophistication with modern luxury. Designed by Duro partners Corbin and Ross See of Sees Design, in collaboration with Patrick Craine of Practice Architecture, the space is a carefully curated homage to Chumley, Chas’ beloved dog, whose legacy of loyalty and warmth flows throughout the restaurant’s design. With 90 seats indoors and an additional 25 on the outdoor terrace, the restaurant envelops guests in a world of understated luxury, complete with elements such as mahogany walls, custom fireplaces, and rich, deep-toned woodwork that nod to British heritage.

Signature spaces within the restaurant include The Study, a refined space featuring mahogany-paneled walls and a custom fireplace adorned with the Duro logo and English hunting motifs, as well as the Trellis Room, which highlights dramatic architectural design and intimate seating arrangements. Every detail—from the pumpkin-hued leather banquettes to the Scottish plaid rugs in the private dining room—contributes to the atmosphere of old-world European elegance, with a warmth and coziness that make the space feel inviting and personal.

“Our goal was to create an environment where every guest feels as though they’ve stepped into a sophisticated, yet intimate European escape,” said Corbin See. “The Chumley House blends the comfort of English coziness with the grandeur of luxury, evoking a space that is at once historic and full of character.”

The menu at The Chumley House redefines the steakhouse experience, blending traditional European culinary influences with creative global touches. The carefully curated selection of steaks—featuring cuts such as filet mignon, NY strip, and bone-in ribeye—pairs perfectly with an assortment of fresh seafood and signature dishes like Beef Wellington. The menu also showcases inventive takes on Indian-inspired flavors, a subtle homage to the culinary fusion that defines London’s diverse food scene.

Highlights include savory dishes such as the Butter Chicken Pie with coriander-glazed roots and ginger yogurt, the Halibut “Porterhouse” with chimichurri, and the restaurant’s iconic Beef Wellington—center cut tenderloin, duxelles, and spinach crepe encased in a delicate puff pastry. Complementing these offerings are indulgent sides, including Herb Popovers with salted butter and The Regal Potato, each dish a reflection of both heritage and culinary innovation.

Dessert options offer a decadent finish to the meal, with indulgent creations like the Salted Caramel Biscoff Trifle with mascarpone cream and Mimi’s Icebox Pie, complete with blackberry cobbler crumble. The extensive wine list features exceptional selections from Napa, Bordeaux, Burgundy, and other renowned wine regions, ensuring the perfect pairing for every dish.

“Our ambition is for The Chumley House to be more than just a restaurant,” said Chas Martin, Partner at Duro Hospitality. “We want it to be a place where every meal feels like an event—an experience that can be shared and remembered. Fort Worth’s burgeoning dining scene and artistic community make it the ideal place to introduce something new, while still paying tribute to the classic flavors and comforts that our concept embodies.”

The Chumley House will open for dinner service seven days a week, from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm Sunday through Thursday, and 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. For reservations, visit The Chumley House Website.
