Venerated “indie rock institution” (per the Wall Street Journal) Destroyer makes their way to Trees in Dallas on September 29th. The upcoming run, named one of the most anticipated by Pitchfork, features the full seven-piece band for their first tour in three years, promising the fans the complete Destroyer experience.
The new tour happens in support of the band’s 14th studio album, Dan’s Boogie, out now on Merge Records. Dan’s Boogie drew widespread love upon release, receiving high marks from outlets including Pitchfork and the Wall Street Journal, while Bejar was profiled in Vulture, Stereogum, Paste (cover story), and Interview Magazine. The band will also be supported by opener Jennifer Castle.
Now’s the time to catch Dan Bejar and his motley crew – they’ve been sharpening their sound in Europe ahead of these US dates.
