Lombardi Family Concepts is turning up the heat this October with its Chef Battle Royale, a two-night culinary showdown that promises to delight, surprise, and challenge the taste buds. On Wednesday, October 1 and Wednesday, October 22, Executive Chefs Mauro Gianinazzi of Lombardi Cucina Italiana and Emmanuel Hodencq of Toulouse Café and Bar will go head-to-head in a unique dining experience that food lovers won’t want to miss.
This year, the twist is as fun as it is daring: both chefs will cook at both restaurants on both nights, stepping out of their culinary comfort zones. Chef Gianinazzi will put his Italian roots aside to take on French-inspired creations, while Chef Hodencq will trade his French techniques for classic Italian dishes. Each night offers a five-course menu featuring two dishes per course—one from each chef—paired with carefully selected wines from Noble Wine. Guests start the evening with a welcome cocktail at 6:30 p.m. and then dive into side-by-side tastings, voting for their favorites along the way. The chef with the most votes at the end of the night takes the crown, making each course a deliciously competitive experience.
