The 2025 State Fair of Texas, held from September 26 to October 19, drew crowds from across the state, eager to soak up the sights, sounds, and energy of one of Texas’ most iconic events. Families strolled through the fairgrounds, live music filled the air, and colorful exhibits captured the imagination of visitors young and old. From thrilling rides to hands-on displays, there was a sense of excitement around every corner, and the fair had something for everyone, whether you were an auto enthusiast, a culture lover, or simply there to enjoy a day out in the Texas sun.

Of course, no visit to the fair would be complete without indulging in the food, and 2025 delivered some unforgettable options. Among the first things people flocked to were Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs, perfectly golden and crispy with juicy hot dogs inside, and Fried PB&J, a nostalgic treat turned indulgent fair favorite. New standout dishes stole the spotlight as well. Hans Brisket & Brew Stuffed Pretzels from the Hans Mueller tent offered soft pretzel balls packed with tender brisket and creamy beer cheese, while the Crab & Mozzarella Arancini combined a crisp exterior with a gooey, cheesy center that melted in your mouth.
The Vietnamese Crunch Dog brought a playful fusion of flavors with its tangy, crunchy toppings, and for anyone craving something sweet, the Dubai Chocolate Funnel Cake Fries turned a classic funnel cake into a decadent, chocolate-drizzled indulgence. Each bite felt like a mini adventure, capturing the creativity and spirit of the fair while giving visitors something to talk about long after they left.

The Texas Auto Show was another major draw, giving car enthusiasts plenty to marvel at. Stellantis debuted the 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack with a powerful twin-turbo inline-six engine, Chrysler showcased the concept Pacifica Grizzly Peak, and Jeep unveiled the redesigned 2026 Cherokee. Ram featured its heavy-duty trucks, demonstrating rugged performance and advanced technology, while Toyota’s lineup included the Tundra, Sequoia, and all-electric EV9.
Kia displayed its 2025 Telluride and Sorento, rounding out a show that had something for every type of driver. Attendees could explore interiors, check out interactive demonstrations, and get a glimpse of what the future of automotive design might look like.

The fairgrounds themselves were alive with energy, offering so much more than just food and cars. At the Big Tex Urban Farms exhibit, visitors got a hands-on look at sustainable farming and local agriculture, while the African American Museum and Mundo Latino exhibits celebrated culture, art, and history in ways that felt personal and engaging. Live music, street performers, and family-friendly shows kept the atmosphere buzzing, and there was always something new to discover around every corner.
Walking through the fair felt less like attending an event and more like experiencing a weekend-long adventure, full of surprises, laughter, and shared moments. The 2025 State Fair of Texas was about tasting the flavors, seeing the innovations, and feeling the heart and spirit of Texas in every bite, every ride, and every smile.
