Guest House, the Austin-born dinner spot known for tableside Wagyu and caviar cones, opens its Dallas location Wednesday, November 18, at 1900 Cedar Springs Road in Uptown. Reservations went live today.
Dallas is the fourth Guest House from RDM Hospitality. The first opened in Austin in spring 2024, followed by Las Vegas later that year and Scottsdale this past January. Aspen is next on the list.
The man running the kitchens is corporate executive chef Todd Mark Miller, and his résumé reads like a short history of the modern American steakhouse. He was the opening chef at Stephen Starr’s Barclay Prime in Philadelphia, where he built the $100 cheesesteak that got the restaurant national attention, and he went on to run the kitchen at STK in New York before opening STK locations in Los Angeles and Miami.
That background shows on the menu. Expect Parmesan-crusted filet mignon, a lineup of premium steaks, a raw bar and caviar service, with Wagyu carved tableside and tuna and caviar cones meant to be passed around. The lighter side of the menu leans nostalgic, with spicy rigatoni, steak tartare, Wagyu pastrami and, yes, chicken tenders. Every table starts with a complimentary croissant-brioche, which has become something of a calling card for the brand. The Dallas kitchen will also serve a handful of dishes made only for this location.
The bar carries over Guest House favorites like the Tugley Woods, the Magic Mushroom and the house espresso martini, and Dallas gets a new martini program that debuts with the opening.

The room was designed by John Sofio, founder of the hospitality design firm Built Inc. The idea is a space that starts the evening as a dinner room and grows louder and more social as the night goes on, with acoustics tuned so you can still hear the person across the table and a signature scent running through the space.
“Texas is where the Guest House story began, and bringing the brand to Dallas is an exciting milestone for us,” said co-founder and CEO Raj Kumar. “We’ve always believed that dinner should be more than just a reservation.”
Partner David Mulugheta grew up here, and he says this one is personal. “This is the city I grew up in, so seeing reservations open in Uptown is personal for me,” he said. “We created Guest House Dallas for the people who live here.”
Guest House Dallas will serve dinner Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 4 to 11 p.m. Reservations are available online for parties of up to six. For larger groups and private dining, email info.dtx@welcometgh.com.
