We learned today from Mercy for Animals, the national non-profit that is dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and making compassionate food choices, that the outspoken reverend Al Sharpton has gone vegan.
Heavily influenced by the same decision some years ago by Bill Clinton, and advocate Coretta Scott King, Sharpton stated in a MFA release, “Avoiding meat is the way to eat for anyone with a highly charged life.
