Freixenet Tastings & Tapas Hits DFW

The chilly weather didn’t put a damper on the Freixenet Tastings & Tapas truck launch at Wish Ultralounge last night. Food trucks are all the rage these days and the Ferrer family, the producers of Freixenet, were not going to be left in the cold, no pun intended. Freixenet, Spain’s famous “Black Bottle Bubbly”, is the “largest producer of methode champenoise”. For those of you, like me, who don’t know what the heck that means, they make more sparkling wine than anyone else. You can’t call it Champagne unless it’s made in, you guessed it, Champagne, France.   Continue reading
