This anticipated event celebrates one of the strongest beer styles: Barleywine. Known for its rich complexity and potent strength, Barleywine is typically released only once a year, often during the late autumn or early winter months. These ales boast an alcohol by volume (ABV) range of 6% to 13%, offering a bold and warming experience for craft beer enthusiasts.

Fort Worth’s original beer emporium Flying Saucer hosts the 12th annual Barleywine and Swine event on Saturday, February 20 from 11am-12:00am.The annual pig roast offers the Swine Platter and flights of 4 rare American Barleywines or 4 rare English Barley Wines for $30. Ten various Barleywines will be served all day until they are gone.

The Swine Platter is also available without the flight pairing for $14.99. Flight without platter for $18.Barleywine is one of the strongest ale styles typically release once a year during the autumn of winter. Alcohol by volume (abv.) ranges from 6% – 13%.Flying Saucer is located at 111 E. Third Street at Commerce in Fort Worth.
