Chefs for Farmers 2016 Bigger and Brighter Event, September 23-25

Chefs For Farmers is an annual food and wine festival held in Dallas that brings chefs, artisans and culinary influencers together to celebrate supporting local and regional farmers at a three-day culinary blowout. Now in its 5th year, the festival will be held Friday, Saturday 23 – Sunday, September 25, 2016 with the mission to celebrate supporting the local and regional farming industry.

In addition to some of the hottest chefs in Dallas, national chefs are also participating. This year, 60+ chefs along with 35+ farmers/artisans and 50+ wineries, breweries and distilleries are all gathered for this “down home no mess, no fuss” weekend. Dogfish Head Beer Thousand Release Event at Foundry Feb 28

For one night only, the Foundry will have Beer Thousand, a Dogfish Head imperial lager in limited release. This lager was brewed in honor of the 20th anniversary of the release of indie band Guided by Voices’ album Bee Thousand. To help us celebrate this momentous occasion, there will be a performance by Guided by Vices – a cover band featuring members of American Werewolf Academy and Centro-matic. 4th Annual Deep Ellum Brewing Co Brew-B-Q Beat Off Thirst

This weekend marked the 4th Annual Brew-B-Q event at Deep Ellum Brewing Company which featured a total take over of the brewery with crowds filing throughout the compound. Even with a pending downpour, fans of the Dallas brewery came out in record numbers to sample many of their seasonal favorites including the powerful 8.7% double IPA Dreamcrusher, and the Zwickel Tickle, a blonde lager. Beaujolais and Beyond Is November 22nd
