The Watters Creek community is about to get a taste of premium steaks, mouthwatering modern American flavors and specialty cocktails when Sugarbacon Proper Kitchen makes its Allen debut this spring.
Located at 968 Village Green Drive in the Watters Creek shopping center, Sugarbacon will serve elevated Southern comfort dishes that feature the finest ingredients, like its renowned Sugarbacon appetizer and fan-favorite entrées like Filet, NY Strip, Ribeye, Short Rib, Grits & Shrimps and Crawfish Pot Pie.
The Biscuit Bar celebrated its grand opening in Plano yesterday. It is the newest restaurant to join The Boardwalk in Granite Park.
Before entering The Biscuit Bar, customers can see an arrangement of silver, black and yellow tables and chairs, corresponding to the aesthetic of the inside of the restaurant. From the outside, customers can look through a window, in which they will see workers rolling and kneading dough, and baking hot, fresh biscuits.
From the restaurateurs who brought our favorite restaurant in Dallas on Henderson, Gemma, comes their long awaited Mediterranean send up, Sachet. Menu items include lamb, seafood, poultry, house-made pastas, legumes and grains, salads, and more than 20 vegetable-based meze, or starters, sourced from the best seasonal ingredients.

Fox Restaurant Concepts announced today that they are opening North Italia on June 27, 2017, in Plano, Texas. This will be their first North restaurant in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. North Italia will be located at Legacy West, just steps away from Sam Fox’s other popular restaurant, True Food Kitchen. It’s an exciting day in the Dallas food world as we receive word from chef Abel Gonzales, the five time Texas State Fair Big Tex Award winner, about the good news of his restaurant opening. Look for Republic Ranch to open this Spring. The theme will be a continuation of his Texican theme. Think smoked BBQ meets Mexican.

Deep Ellum is fast becoming a hotbed of culinary fashion with the advent of new openings that seem to be increasing in speed. The latest opening that gives us cause for a bit of reverie is STIRR located on Main in the space formerly known as Club Clearview.
Cheffed by Chad Bowden, who made a transition from Culpepper in Rockwall, fits into this concept which implements fire as a component in his cookery. There are some familiar flavors that many in Dallas have never sampled but was part of his arsenal in Rockwall.
