Sugarbacon Prepares to Open First Allen Restaurant

The Watters Creek community is about to get a taste of premium steaks, mouthwatering modern American flavors and specialty cocktails when Sugarbacon Proper Kitchen makes its Allen debut this spring.

Located at 968 Village Green Drive in the Watters Creek shopping center, Sugarbacon will serve elevated Southern comfort dishes that feature the finest ingredients, like its renowned Sugarbacon appetizer and fan-favorite entrées like Filet, NY Strip, Ribeye, Short Rib, Grits & Shrimps and Crawfish Pot Pie.

Similar to its recently reopened flagship location in Historic Downtown McKinney, Sugarbacon provides an elevated dining experience with modern, industrial décor. Guests can also take a seat at Sugarbacon’s lively bar to enjoy an expansive mixology selection that focuses on dark liquors and unique, delicious cocktails.

“Our restaurant quickly made its mark amongst McKinney locals, and now it’s time to share our one-modern American dishes with a Southern twist with the Allen community,” said Michael Kim, owner of One Esca, a proud Sugarbacon franchisee. “Watters Creek lacks a really great steak place right now, so we’re very excited to bring high-end steaks to this area. With incredible food and specialty mixed cocktails, coupled with a contemporary ambiance and an energetic bar, we believe Sugarbacon will be really special in Watters Creek. Whether people are out shopping, going to catch a concert or looking for a fun late-night bar, we believe we’ll soon become the perfect place for people to sit down and enjoy an amazing meal and handcrafted cocktails. We can’t wait to celebrate our grand opening with everyone in Allen this spring!”

In addition to its signature brunch and dinner menus, Sugarbacon Allen will showcase an expansive mixology selection that focuses on dark liquors and specialty cocktails. The new restaurant will house 30 bourbons and local beers on tap, and host Heavenly Happy Hour Monday through Thursday from 4-7 p.m.

When the new 2,800-square-foot restaurant opens, it’ll mark the first Sugarbacon in Allen and second systemwide. Sugarbacon Allen will also feature an expansive 500-square-foot patio. For a complete menu and more information, visit sugarbacon.com.
