Just weeks ago I stopped in to dine at Ristorante Nicola on Preston Road. The promise of the new chef breathing valued life into the restaurant was at once exciting and full of promise. Owner Richard Gussoni had just imported CIA Hyde Park grad Justin Melnick to the Dallas area and I thought the restaurant was back on track from what had been a bit lackluster previous year.
