Sad news in the pie world today. Donna’s Pie House has closed. Donna’s was located at 5600 Lover’s Lane and served up breakfast, delicious from scratch sandwiches and, of course, pie. Delicious, lovely pie. They were also noted for their pie bites, a two-bite handheld pie that came in dozens of flavors. For the holidays Donna’s would sell hundreds of pies and often had to cap off the amount they could make due to the shear volume. Continue reading
