Sushi Marquee Open at The Star in Frisco

Sushi Marquee is now open at The Star in Frisco. Consider Marquee a fun-loving Japanese inspired concept which combines great food and inventive cocktails with a lively, interactive environment not seen in Dallas and has an over-the-top fun factor that guests to the Dallas area and natives alike will most assuredly enjoy. The energy is high, the food is solid and the drinks flow all with verve.

Sushi Marquee has some talent in the kitchen with chef Johnnie Walker who is a CIA graduate with marks across the country including both Dallas and Austin. Patrick Stark, the Mohawk Chef, is an on-board culinary collaborator. Running the sushi program is  executive sushi chef Gabriel Reyes who has previously worked Ra Sushi, Bluefish and Jinbeh. Dee Lincoln Prime Opening Friday, Dec 1 – Star in Frisco

Dee Lincoln who has been called “The Queen of Steaks” is going back to her fine dining roots with her newest venture Dee Lincoln Prime located at The Star in Frisco. The 8,000 square foot stunner will officially open to the public Friday, December 1.

Dee Lincoln Prime is an upscale steakhouse with Executive Chef TJ Lengnick serving steaks from award-winning and premier purveyor of prime meat, Allen Brothers. Lengnick who’s resume includes working in impressive high-volume, high-end kitchens such as Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Stephan Pyles, Jasper’s and Shinisei says, “I was blown away when Dee asked me to join her team. I feel I’ve been training for this my entire career. Sushi Marquee to Open at The Star in December

This December, the Star in Frisco, the area’s premiere sports and entertainment district, will welcome its newest addition, Sushi Marquee. The fun-loving Japanese inspired concept combines great food and inventive cocktails with a lively, interactive environment that’s unlike anything else in DFW.

Sushi Marquee is the newest concept from the restaurant group Crafted Bar Concepts (CBC) which houses other restaurants/bars including shellfish sensation Shell Shack, Back 9 and Shakertins.  The Sushi Marquee “dream team” is comprised of industry veterans Dallas Hale and Matt Saba (owners of Shell Shack and Back 9), Brad Hawkins (owner of Shakertins and Chopshop Sports Garage), Anthony Morel (co-owner of Shakertins and award-winning cocktail crafter) and General Manager James Hamous (a.k.a Skinny), who’s a partner in High Fives and The Standard Pour.  Continue reading

In 1972, Van Morrison intoxicated us with his love song Tupelo Honey.  Using his soulful voice and melodies, he had everyone looking for a love “as sweet as tupelo honey.”  In September 2017, Stephen Frabitore introduced DFW to Tupelo Honey, an eating establishment designed to satisfy our need for Southern cuisine.
