Happiness is a Warm CFS at Cowtown Diner

by Steven Doyle

Happiness is contagious. All week and continuing through until Monday, January 16, 2012,  Cowtown Diner in Fort Worth’s Sundance Square is asking diners to spread the love and share something good that has happened. More happiness follows, as 10 percent of the diner’s check also goes to work for others as a donation to Tarrant Area Food Bank.

Guests simply write down anything good or positive in their lives – whatever they are grateful for – and the message is posted on a wall in Cowtown Diner for everyone to share the warm fuzzies.

“It’s hope for the heart, and it helps people who are truly in need,” said Scott Jones, creator and visionary behind Cowtown Diner and the “Happy Tales” campaign. “We live very blessed lives, and to recognize that and then use it to help others is true holiday spirit.”

We might suggest the behemoth chicken fried steak that Cowtown offers. Bring a huge appetite, or a dozen close friends.
