The Dallas Santa Rampage is set for December 15, 2012. This is the event that invites all the Dallas Santa’s to join and follow a route that is a closely held secret until the day of the event. Last year hundreds of Santa’s met at Lee Harvey’s for cocktails then followed a route that led them across the downtown area via light rail and ended in Deep Ellum before making a return trip.
Along the Santa trail there were challenges, parades and pageants and this year should prove to be event bigger.
The organizers are adamant that the Santa Rampage is not a pub crawl for hipsters wearing a Santa hat. To join in the reindeer games you must don full Santa or Mrs. Santa regalia. The quality of Santa gear will not be questioned, however.
