Dallas And Fort Worth Locations Open For Dude, Sweet Chocolate

Dude, Sweet Chocolate owner Katherine Clapner wants you to have a sweet holiday season and has opened two new shops to assist you with your gifts and to satisfy your primal need for chocolate. The smallest version is at 8304 Preston Center Plaza in Dallas sandwiched between Taco Diner and R+D Kitchen, the other is in Fort Worth at 2925 Crockett. Both of these shops geographically enhance Dude, Sweet’s proliferation of Clapner’s special design on chocolate.

There are plenty of new flavors to choose from as well, including the latest called Trixie and Chim Chim, a bar made with Szechuan pepper corns and lime, and Luchador, an apple butter and tamarind soft toffee.  You are still able to grab many of your old favorites such as the best selling Crack-In-The-Box with uses chocolate as a binder to hold together candied nuts and cocoa nibs.

The new Preston center location is small in stature but is a beautiful shop that offers samples for the neighborhood.

Clapner said that she has a 3-month lease on the Preston store, with an option to move to another building nearby with even greater visibility. Meanwhile she is still in the midst of decorating the store in Fort Worth and has asked friends for photos of themselves donning cowboy gear as a child.

The Bishop Arts shop remains the flagship for Dude, Sweet Chocolate and currently serves as the main kitchen facility until an off-site location is built. The website offers shipping across the country.
