Join Executive Joel A. Harloff in The Second Floor Bistro-Bar’s new private dining room Privé as he hosts a Chef Charity Tasting benefiting With Love, From Mexico, a fair trade organization that promotes recycling, community outreach programs and assistance to immigrant families. With Love, From Mexico works with regional artists from Los Altos de Jalisco to produce recycled works of art to assist those abroad and within the United States.

Harloff and his culinary team have crafted the following dishes to be paired with wines selected by Sommelier Gina Gottlich. The four course menu includes: Roasted Crab Bisque with a crab fritter and paprika-sherry crème fraiche paired with Ryan Patrick Chardonnay, Columbia Valley, Washington; Curly Endive Salad with duck confit, caramelized shallots, oven-dried tomato and cherry vinaigrette paired with Four Graces Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon; Grilled Flatbread with house mustard sauce paired with Qupe Syrah, Central Coast, California; and Seasonal Fruit Cobbler paired with Michele Chiarlo “Nivole” Moscato d’Asti, Italy.

Reservations are being taken now for Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 3 to 5 p.m. Price for the special dinner is $50 per person and includes complimentary valet parking at the Westin Galeria Dallas. Reservations are required. Call (972) 450-2978 to reserve a seat.
