Little Debbie was taken hostage yesterday, June 13, 2013, and all the thief wanted was her cookies. The alleged thief, identified as 48 year old Anthony Thompson, was taken into custody after the Little Debbie driver noticed his truck was missing from the Kroger on Medical Parkway, located across from Maple and Motor Burger in Dallas.
The truck was later seen on Harry Hines Blvd. and police intervened and arrested the thief who had already sold $3400 worth of the snack cakes for $5 per case. The police report mentions that there is still $1600 of product missing. Thompson was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
No Swiss Rolls, Zebra Cakes or Nutty Bars were injured.
Whew, I was worried about the Zebra Cakes
Gosh, I hope Little Debbie wasn’t violated.
