TJ’s Seafood Market is one of our favorite spots in Dallas to find fresh seafood. Th location at Preston and Forest has been servicing Dallas for 25 years, and has been a fantastic spot for unusual species of seafood with exemplary quality. We also enjoy the location on Oak Lawn that allows us to select our seafood fresh from the cold case and dine on location. Today we learned that TJ’s will be moving their flagship store at Preston-Forest to a new location at Preston and Royal in the North East shopping center, the former Purple Cow restaurant.
Owner Jon Alexis said today that he will have a spacious new fish case, as well as an 80 seat dining room for guests to enjoy his menu of fresh offerings.
“With 80 seats, we are going to offer more traditional table service (as opposed to ordering at the fish counter at Oak Lawn). We’ll also have a fun wine list, liquor and cocktails, happy hour specials, cooking classes, party platters and full-service event catering,” said Alexis today.
