Fort Worth’s Pour House Rebranding Into The Trinity River Tap House

As the community of Fort Worth gathers on May 30 for the Trinity River Craft Beer and Music Festival, all should be sure to raise a glass and make a toast to the retirement of The Pour House name. After 20 years in business, on Saturday, May 30, the Fort Worth staple is excited to announce that it will officially become The Trinity River Tap House.

The hope and purpose is that the new name will reflect the recent remodel and changes the bar has undergone in the past few years, making it the most comprehensive tap wall in town with 75 craft drafts and more than 100 craft bottles and cans. With live music, great food and several local breweries onsite, the public grand opening will be a celebration of what is to come and will include a toast by city councilwoman Ann Zadeh and US Congressman Marc Veasey.

In 1995, owner Eric Tschetter opened The Pour House with one goal in mind: to create a place he would want to hang out, relax, talk with friendly people and eat great food. With no previous experience in the restaurant industry, he hoped that if he could create that kind of atmosphere, people would come – and as we now know, he was right. The Pour House took Fort Worth by storm and quickly became a beloved community staple.  Over the years, the bar has managed to remain true to its core as it nearly tripled in size, moved locations and underwent many renovations and revitalization.

“After 20 years of great times and memories, we look forward to the next chapter under a new name and with a new beginning,” says owner Eric Tschetter. “We couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come.”

At the heart of The Trinity River Taphouse, Tschetter’s original dream and goal of 20 years ago will continue to live on in creating a local hang-out with an atmosphere where guests can feel at home, know that they are cared for and have a great time.

The Trinity River Taphouse is located at 2725 West 7th Street in Fort Worth, and is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
