Local renowned chefs will gather at Expressions Home Gallery on Sunday, September 13, 2015 for the first annual Touchdown Tailgate Tasting benefiting Café Momentum. Each chef has been tasked with the challenge to serve up a dish with their spin on traditional tailgate food, featuring a set of pre-determined ingredients typically found at tailgates. Local celebrities including TV personality, Dawn Neufeld; Zagat Dallas editor and freelance journalist, Steven Lindsey; and Director of The Law Offices of David T. Denney specializing in food, beverage and hospitality law, David Denney, will be on hand to judge each of the creations, with additional judges to be announced. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote on their favorite dish. Specialty cocktails will be provided by Leprechaun Premium Hard Cider and Reilly’s Whiskey. Funds raised from the event will go towards Café Momentum’s mission of transforming young lives by equipping the community’s most at-risk youth with life skills, education and employment opportunities to help them achieve their full potential.
