Ruth’s Chris Steak House Hosts Stags’ Leap Winery

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and Stags  Leap Winery joined forces Sunday night, treating guests to a five-course pairing dinner. The event was one of over a hundred hosted at Ruth’s Chris all over the country simultaneously. The featured wine was Stags’ Leap newest addition, the Stags’ Leap Investor Red Blend.  

General manager Alan Shulz began the evening by informing the group of the inception of the event, saying how excited they were to partner with Stags’ Leap Winery in order to showcase a selection of their wines accompanied with an exceptional menu by Ruth’s Chris.

Kaila DeBesse of Treasury Wine Estates and Stags’ Leap (photo above) gave a brief history of the winery and the wines of the night. “Winemaker & GM, Christophe Paubert, creates wines with a tendency toward the French process rather than the more traditional Napa style” she said.

Executive Chef Willy Singleton came to each table, explaining each dish and why it paired so well with each wine. He graciously answered multiple questions for over 20 minutes as guests chatted him up.
