Chefs For Farmers (CFF) 2017, the down-home, no-fuss festival celebrating top chefs and local food, will be bigger than ever before with more than 150 combined chefs, food artisans, bartenders, breweries, wineries, and distillers.
This year is to be the best and brightest yet in what we have described as the pinnacle of food festivals in Texas.
The fifth annual festival will again feature exciting pop up dinners, delectable tastings, and parties that celebrate the vibrant Dallas culinary scene with talented chefs from across Texas and beyond. And, as the festival name implies, each CFF chef has one thing in common – they support local farmers.
Kicking off Thursday, November 2 and closing out Sunday, November 5, the festival is mixing up its venues to offer guests some new places in the city for foodie inspiration. Events will be held at several of the city’s top venues including the iconic, landmark hotel The Adolphus and the emerging Victory Park district.

Every event will offer mouthwatering food and libations from trendsetters in the culinary scene. What we love most about our chefs is that they are all advocates of the farm-to-table movement. We are proud to show off our city – because Dallas deserves to be on every foodie’s must-eat map.”
For the first time, The Adolphus in downtown Dallas will serve as the host hotel, providing a gorgeous spot for visiting chefs and food lovers from afar. The venue will offer intimate chef-led events and educational programming for festival-goers and special CFF room rates, to be announced soon. The Adolphus will also host the annual Friday Night Welcome Dinner in its iconic 19th floor ballroom. Called “Know Thy Farmer,” this seated dinner pays tribute to North Texas farmers and is presented by Celebrity Cruises and Whole Foods Market. The heart and soul of the festival, this special evening will pair farmers and chefs to create five unparalleled courses for 125 lucky guests.
Another first-time venue at Chefs For Farmers, Victory Park is the host location of the popular, vibrant returning Street Food Night Market on Saturday, November 3. Guests will enjoy an eclectic pop-up of street food favorites from 18 local and national chefs in the heart of this rapidly evolving, urban neighborhood. Look out for a thirteen-spice seafood boil!
CFF guests can feel good about their purchase too; proceeds from the four-day feast will continue to benefit Texas ranchers and farmers. The delicious event will also help VNA Meals on Wheels raise funds through its annual Power of Pie campaign, where guests pay $25 and receive a delicious Thanksgiving pecan or pumpkin pie made by top local chefs.
