2019 Crave Grill Guide and Reviews

Grilling season is in full swing and it is time you thought about tossing out the old rusty model you have been clinging to for so many years. We have a little guidance in selecting a new model that will not only impress your neighbors, but ease you through many summers ahead. Unlike our pal Hank Hill, we prefer using real charcoal for a better tasting product.

When using charcoal, we recommend natural lump charcoal and not briquettes which can be laced with undesirable ingredients. Lump charcoal burns hot, and with some brands your grill can reach over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Perfect for grilling steaks. You just can’t get this kind of heat out of briquettes. Plus there is very little waste cleanup with natural charcoal.          Continue reading

2017 Chefs for Farmers

Now in its seventh year, Chefs for Farmers has blossomed into one of the best food and wine events in the state of Texas, and the expansion for the main event was overwhelmingly evident. Started by chef Matt McCallister of FT33 and Iris Midler along with a handful of chef friends and farmers, the first year was a long-table event at Eden’s Garden Organic Garden Center and CSA Farm in Balch Springs that paired eight chefs from five Dallas restaurants for one evening of dining and music to benefit and celebrate our local farms. Three Dog Night at Majestic Theatre Nov 2nd

The AT&T Performing Arts Center and AEG Presents announced today that tickets for THREE DOG NIGHT will go on sale Friday, August 25 at 10 a.m. Grammy-nominated and legendary music icons, THREE DOG NIGHT, will perform for one-night-only at 8 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Majestic Theatre in downtown Dallas.

Ticket prices for THREE DOG NIGHT range from $79.75 – $29.75 and can be purchased, beginning on August 25 at 10 a.m., online, by phone at 214-880-0202 or in person at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Winspear Opera House Box Office at 2403 Flora Street.
