The folks that brought you neighborhood staples like High Fives, The Whippersnapper and Ferris Wheelers – is at it again with the creation of an extraordinary, first-of-its-kind, out-of-this-world concept that will completely shift the entertainment landscape in DFW, if not all of Texas.
Just kidding. It’s another bar.
Officially opened last week, Oak Cliff is now home to Tiny Victories – a laid-back neighborhood cocktail bar headed by Operating Partner Ryan Payne. Payne has been perfecting his craft in Dallas for the past 15 years. He opened the Porch and has worked at the Dram, Americano and Midnight Rambler at The Joule and Victor Tangos.
“Oak Cliff is a strong community and we know that trust and respect will be earned, not given,” said This & That Co. Co-founder Brandon Hays. “Our plan is to extend a hand to our neighbors, all while having a good time. A hospitality-first mentality is our focus and we can’t wait to meet everyone.”
The 1,000-square-foot, 40-seat cocktail bar will be an easygoing spot to enjoy a well-crafted drink, hang out and strike up a conversation with friends, or the person sitting next to you. It’ll have a 250-square-foot patio and a friendly, unpretentious ambiance featuring cozy seating and stylish décor.
Tiny Victories is located at 602 N. Tyler St. in the heart of North Oak Cliff and will be open every day until late.
