The first Beer Dinner at White Rock Alehouse & Brewery, hosted by Chef Ben Zimmerer and Head Brewer Blake Morrison will take place on WEDNESDAY, MAY 16th – 7pm. Ben and Blake have selected five dishes and five beers that pair well for an enjoyable evening. They will guide you course by course through their thought process in creating the menu and what to look for as you taste each course and beer.
1st Course – “Social Beer & Bite” – Big Thicket Blonde Ale paired with a Crab & Roasted Corn Crostini w/ Avocado Cream Sauce.
2nd Couse – “Double Parakeet” – Urban Parakeet Pale Ale paired with a Pear Salad with Roasted Parakeet (kidding, it’s actually chicken).
3rd Course – “IPO & IPA” – IPO IPA Round 2 paired with an Indonesian Potato & Asparagus Salad.
4th Course – “AK in TX” – Alaskan Amber paired with Alaskan Wild Caught Salmon with a Roasted Red Pepper Puree.
5th Course – “Coffee & Donuts” – Bonnie Barge Brown Ale paired with Chocolate Donut Souffle topped with Raspberry Sauce.
Two ticket types are shown:
General admission is $50 per person and includes the dinner and a White Rock Alehouse & Brewery glass to take with you.
VIP booths are $300 for each of the four booths in the dining room and they seat 4 people. Each person in a booth will receive dinner, a White Rock Alehouse t-shirt, a White Rock Alehouse glass and a 32oz growler filled with the White Rock Alehouse beer of their choice.
