Are you planning a tea party with crumpets and scones to watch Meghan Markle marry her prince? Perhaps you want a unique decedent cake made by a Food Network baker? Or, you just want a gooey yummy brownie for no reason. Whatever your pastry and dessert dreams are, you can find them on King Arthurs Blvd…in Lewisville.
Elizabeth Rowe, star and baker has brought London to Lewisville with her new store, The London Baker. With her artistic flair and cake engineering skills your cake dreams can become reality. Her cake designs are simply brilliant but let me say this out loud, “Her cakes taste bloody amazing!” When you can find a cake that looks good but tastes even better, you are winning!
In addition to cakes, the freshly made pastries including fluffy buttery croissants are baked in small batches throughout the day so that there is minimal waste and always fresh. I do have to admit that when I was sampling the croissant, I had to “resample” a few times just to make sure I did my full research for our Crave readers. I had no problem taking one for the team in this case.
Cakes, crumpets and croissants is not the only good news we have to share. Elizabeth is featured on four episodes of Food Network series, “Dallas Cakes.” Filmed in part at Elizabeth’s bakery, the show follows Dallas bakers as they transform their client’s cake dreams into reality. The first episode featured Elizabeth making a “Game of Thrones” cake and tune in on 5/21 at 9:30 p.m. to find out what cake engineering feat Elizabeth will master.
I CANNOT STAND THE SOUND OF YOUR VOICE. And your latest TV commercial for the Food Network Christmas cake baking championship is so stupid. You have a voice that was meant for reading, NOT HEARD.
Not site she’ll see this, but thanks for the comment delay! 😉
