Thanksgiving caught up to us fast and we have guests coming. Instead of making a turkey you might consider the happy gift of reservations. We have assembled a list of some of our favorites for not only a buffet, but plated Thanksgiving-esque courses that will please a hungry crowd in the Dallas area.

Stephen Pyle’s Flora: Join Chef Stephan Pyles at Stephan Pyles Flora Street Café at HALL Arts for a delicious Thanksgiving brunch on Thursday, November 28. From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Flora Street Café will be serving a three-course Thanksgiving-inspired menu highlighted with modern Texas cuisine by Stephan Pyles. There will be multiple selections from each course to choose from, as well as alcoholic beverages available for purchase. The menu will be priced at $75 per person plus tax and gratuity and $35 for children 12 years and under. Reservations are available at: 214.580.7000. 

12 Cuts Brazillian Steakhouse: A new, locally-owned churrascaria style restaurant with South American influences, will offer a full churrasco experience and market fresh organic salad bar for lunch and dinner on Thanksgiving Day.  Lunch is 37.85, dinner 46.85 with a huge discount for organic salad bar only.

Stampede 66: Enjoy a taste of Texas for Thanksgiving at Stampede66 by Stephan Pyles at Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Allen. The restaurant will be offering a pre-fixe menu for $38 per person plus tax and gratuity, along with an optional wine pairing for each course for $20 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Additionally, the restaurant will be offering “Thanksgiving to Go” for those who want to enjoy the flavors of Stampede 66 at home. The menu will consist of the same menu as dine-in and orders will come with instructions to create the perfect meal at home. Patrons must place orders by Thursday, November 21 at 2:00 PM and will be able to pick up their orders on Tuesday, November 26th and Wednesday, November 27th between the hours of 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Servings include: SP’s Mexican Corn Bread, choice of entrée, all sides and choice of dessert for $60 plus tax for two people. Each additional person is $30. To place an order call:  469.675.0836

Cru Food and Wine: Cru has always been known for a great holiday stop for traditional turkey, filet mignon, pumpkin ravioli, and delicious desserts. Make reservations to hold your spot. And wine. $46

Truluck’s: Our kind of Thanksgiving, serving the regular menu or a traditional turkey dinner with trimmings. This dinner will pair nicely with their new cocktail menu. $45 per person, and you can order left-overs for $15.

Fearing’s: Nothing finer than the digs at the Ritz-Carlton for a fantastic holiday repast.  Tangerine-glazed turkey paired with whipped potatoes, roasted squa$sh soup, jalapeno cranberries and much more. Don’t forget desserts. Multiple seatings at $125, $75 vegetarian.

Knife: Located at the Highland Dallas they will be open for breakfast and lunch on Thanksgiving Day. Breakfast hours are 6:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and Lunch hours are 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Regular menus will be available during this time. Bypass turkey plan!

18th & Vine BBQ: Known for their Kansas City style barbecue is offering Thanksgiving meals for pickup this year! Pre-order is required by Sunday, November 24 for holiday meal pickup on Wednesday, November 27. Reheating instructions are included. TJ’s Seafood Market: The family-owned and local favorite with the freshest seafood has a special Thanksgiving menu for pickup at the Preston Royal and Oak Lawn locations. Pre-order is required by Friday, November 22 for holiday meal pickup on Wednesday, November 27. To place an order email order@tjsseafood.com.

The Statler: The hotel joined forces nonprofit organization Operation Forever Free together will host a free Thanksgiving feast for active first responders and civil servants, retired veterans and their immediate families to express gratitude for their honorable service. The banquet is complimentary but you must reserve.

Perry’s: Perry’s is pleased to offer guests a Rare and Well Done experience this Thanksgiving when it opens its doors to holiday diners Thursday, Nov. 28  from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Perry’s invites patrons to indulge in their favorites, try something new or take part in a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, as the restaurant will offer its full dinner menu as well as a special feast for $45.

Perle on Maple: Gather with friends and family at Perle on Maple, the eclectic bistro tucked inside The Stoneleigh, for a special Thanksgiving Day feast created by Executive Chef Wade Burch. The three-course prix-fixed menu, featuring locally-sourced, seasonal Thanksgiving favorites, is $49.95 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) and will be served on Thursday, November 28, from 11AM to 2PM and 5PM to 10PM. Perle on Maple is located at 2927 Maple Avenue, Dallas, TX 75201. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made on OpenTable and by calling (469) 375-5846.

Shell Shack: If you’d like to leave the cooking and serving to someone else this year, swing by any Shell Shack location on Thanksgiving. All locations will be open from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and serving the restaurant’s full menu. And since the Cowboys game kicks off at 3:30 p.m., Shell Shack will be offering $1 off all drinks (excluding specialty cocktails) from 4 – 7 p.m., plus serving $5 Frozens and $3 Peach Cobbler Shots. Ebb & Flow: Deep Ellum’s newest addition will also be open on Thanksgiving Day from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and serving the restaurants full menu.  Also a great place to catch the game.

Sushi Marquee: Ditch the traditional turkey and ham and head to Sushi Marquee which will be open Thanksgiving Day from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and serving the restaurant’s full menu.  The Cowboys game will also be playing on all screens.

Babb Brothers BBQ and Blues: Everyone’s favorite Trinity Groves barbecue joint is offering whole 18-20 pound smoked turkeys, just in time for your Thanksgiving celebrations. They’re available pre-order only, with pick-ups on Tuesday the 26th from 10 a.m. to  5 p.m. and Wednesday the 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Turkeys are $90. Order by calling the restaurant at 214-745-2224.

Mexican Bar Company: The restaurant, located in The District at The Shops at Willow Bend, will be open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thanksgiving day, serving up an all-you-can-eat buffet. Chef Patricio Sandoval has put Mexican flare on the holiday favorites including a turkey carving station, vegetarian and chorizo stuffings, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, brussel sprouts, butternut squash au gratin, a las brasa gravy. Children 6 and under eat for free, children ages 7 to 15 eat for $15, and adults 16 and up for $35.

Uchi: What better way to kick off the Thanksgiving holidays than with Uchi’s version of a Japanese Thanksgiving?  For the second year in a row, Uchi’s Chef Chris Davies will be preparing a most amazing multi-course dinner interpreting traditional Thanksgiving dishes with Uchi’s take on contemporary Japanese food. $125 per person.

Big Al’s Smokehouse: The restaurant is dishing out smoked, tender turkey legs every Friday. Because turkey legs can’t wait for the fair every year! As one of the few decades old, independent BBQ restaurants in the area, Big Al’s has been dishing out quality BBQ, cooked low and slow, for 45 years.

Two Sisters Catering: Two Sisters Catering is offering holiday meal boxes for a hassle free, delicious catering experience. The boxes offered are the “Thanksgiving Feast in a Box” and their three “Holiday Meals in a Box”: Feliz Navidad Buffet, Italian Dinner and Holiday Dinner.  Don’t let the burden of shopping, cooking and cleaning ruin your holiday season this year. These boxes will fulfill all of the favorites you and your family look forward to every holiday season.

Roy’s: On Thursday, Nov. 28, Roy’s will be offering a traditional three-course Thanksgiving menu from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. For just $39.95 per person, guests can enjoy a one-of-a-kind prix fixe menu.

III Forks: All the pageantry and the fixings are waiting fir this traditional feast.  Desserts include pumpkin pie with whipped cream and caramel, Kentucky bourbon chocolate pecan pie, and Makers Mark bread pudding. $49 for adults.

Nosh Bistro Dallas Helmed by renowned Dallas chef, Avner Samuel, will offer a four course prix-fixe menu on Wednesday, November 27. For $75 a person, guests can enjoy:
First Course: Pumpkin-Pumpkin Bisque with Tempura
Second Course: Butternut Squash and Roasted Chesnut Ravioli with Sage Butter Sauce
Third Course: Oven Roasted Rack of Lamb with Squash Souffle and Mint Cranberry Syrup & Candied Orange
Fourth Course: Bourbon Pecan Tart with Cinnamon Chocolate Mousse & Candied Kumquat
In addition to the prix-fixe menu, the regular dinner menu will also be available.
